February 13, 2022 Rabbit Vaccine Appointments with OHS
Sunday, February 13 | 8 a.m.- 11 a.m. | Oregon Humane Society
Rabbit owners are encouraged to get a RHDV vaccine aimed to protect against Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV),for their rabbits. For more information regarding RHDV, visit the State of Oregon website here.
Important Scheduling Information
Due to vaccine regulations, OHS is only permitted to vaccinate rabbits residing in the state of Oregon. If your rabbit lives in any other state, please do not sign up for an appointment. Vaccine regulations also require that all rabbits receive a general exam, temperature check, and microchip* prior to receiving the RHDV vaccination. These treatments will be provided during your rabbit's scheduled appointment time.
*If your rabbit has a microchip or tattoo identification, a microchip will not be administered during the appointment.
Below are available appointment slots for getting your rabbit vaccinated. There are 15 appointments available for each time listed. Clients will be assisted on a first come first serve basis during the scheduled appointment time. Please anticipate being onsite for your appointment for approximately 30 - 45 minutes. Due to COVID, all rabbit owners will need to remain in their vehicles during the appointment.
Please select one appointment time for each rabbit you would like to have vaccinated. For example, if you have two rabbits, please sign up for two appointment slots. After the appointment, you will receive exam notes with proof of vaccination and microchip information (if applicable).
Please plan to arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. Arrival instructions for your appointment will be emailed to you two days prior to your appointment. You will also be required to sign a waiver prior to your appointment time. You can review the waiver in advance here.
If you need to reschedule your appointment, we ask that you let us know at least 10 days in advance so that your appointment can be filled by another rabbit in need.
