I’m thrilled to be a first-time participant in WillaMutt Strut!
I’m strutting to support the Oregon Humane Society’s Salem campus to save animals in my new community of Salem, Oregon. It’s no secret that I’m passionate about helping rescue animals get their second chance and I’m so excited to have this opportunity to keep doing just that.
Here’s one OHS success story I heard from the past year:
King Kong the cat was left at the doorstep of OHS Salem Campus, with a desperate note attached to his carrier pleading to save his life. He had Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC), which can cause a blockage of the urinary tract and, if left untreated, can be painful and fatal in less than 24 hours. The OHS medical team was able to perform the surgery King Kong needed to save his life.
Today, King Kong is enjoying his new life in another loving home. This important work is funded by donations from animal lovers like you. I hope you'll join me in helping pets from all walks of life. Please donate now!
