If you know me, you've heard me gushing about how much I love volunteering for the Oregon Humane Society. They provide a safe place for thousands of animals while they wait to be adopted, offer affordable spay and neuter programs to low income households, and in difficult times like these, assist local shelters by taking in their adoptable animals to make room for misplaced pets.
I was looking forward to helping with their biggest event and fundraiser - the Doggie Dash- this year, but the pandemic has made it go virtual. OHS needs this critical fundraiser to keep operations, so I'd like to ask any friends who can, to consider donating.
I know a lot of us are hurting and there are many causes worth supporting, but if you have a few bucks to spare, please consider throwing them at OHS.
