Join Me in Helping Pets!

Danelle Robertson

This year for Doggie Dash, Oregon Humane's (OHS) LARGEST fundraiser, I am dedicating my fundraising efforts in honor of my beloved cat, Milly. Milly was my best friend and companion for 18 wonderful years. She recently passed away peacefully on February 16th. She was sassy and independent (but the best snuggler) and strong and beautiful and SO SMART. She is my spirit animal.

While Doggie Dash has a focus on our canine friends, OHS does so much for all types of animals - big, small, medium sized, furry, hairless....etc. They work with animals who have attitudes like Milly's that need just a little extra care and attention to and understanding. OR in cases like Milly, it's more about educating and meeting with potential adopters to make sure they go home to the right environment. They welcome animals from other shelters who may not have the room and could potentially be a life saving situation. They send their talented staff and volunteers to all parts of the country when disaster strikes and those regions need extra help to make sure animals are also safe and cared for.

Many of you animal lovers may already know most of those facts. But do you know that they have a program for staff to bring in their pets for medical exams and testing? Did you know we offer compassionate cremation services open to those in the community? Or that you can bring your dog in for one of our training classes taught by our talented dog trainers to help you acclimate with your new companion? OHS extends it's compassion to all the animals they serve AND to the staff, volunteers, and community (and their furry friends). Your pledge goes A LONG WAY.

I'm hoping you'll join me in helping pets from all walks of life. Please donate now!

Thank you so much!
