You know by now that I am very dedicated to the Oregon Humane Society and to all it does to help animals in need--animals in need of homes, in need of medical attention, in need of finding a dry kennel and food when a horrible accident or natural disaster takes away everything.
I have been volunteering at OHS for 3 years. I am co-anchor of the Early Thurds dog walking team, am very active with the Second Chance team, and this year, I started volunteering in the animal hospital helping as animals recover from surgery.
One thing I love about OHS is their work with partner shelters and rescue groups both in and outside of Oregon, to place highly adoptable animals into homes. These partner shelters often have less space, fewer resources, and fewer on-site visitors, resulting in higher euthanasia rates.
Almost 12,000 animals were adopted from OHS in 2019! Amazing!
I am lucky that Mark supports my obsession with homeless animals; he encourages me to support OHS with my time and our money. We hope you will make a donation today to Doggie Dash to help us reach our goal of raising $2,000 for OHS. Just click on the link below to find our web page, click Donate and follow the directions. Don't forget employers who match!
Thank you so much!
