Doggie Dash is back, and I am joining the pack to save lives.
You know how much I love animals. They provide companionship and comfort, as well as a good laugh when we need it.
That's why I'm fundraising for animals in need at the Oregon Humane Society.
Each year, thousands of pets find help and loving homes through OHS. Some stay just a few days, while others are there for months.
Boaz, a lab mix, came to OHS with a weird salivary gland disorder. My mom had the same thing, so he and I bonded. He needed multiple surgeries to remove the impacted glands and repair damage ducts. It took months for his issues to finally be resolved, so he could be available to adopt. With the pandemic hitting midway through his process, he went to a foster home for several months. injuries to heal.Through all of this, Boaz remained friendly and playful. The OHS medical team and a dedicated foster parent were there for Boaz during every step of his recovery.
I hope you'll join me in helping pets from all walks of life. Please donate now!
