Doggie Dash is back, and I am joining the pack to save lives.
You know how much I love animals. They provide companionship and comfort, as well as a good laugh when we need it.
That's why I'm fundraising for animals in need at the Oregon Humane Society.
Each year, thousands of pets find loving homes through OHS. Some stay just a few days, while others are there for months.
I met my soul puppy, Ninkasi, at OHS. He was a part of the Second Chance program, transferred in from a shelter in California that would have had to euthanize him for space. OHS has saved thousands of pets through the Second Chance program.
Houston, a chihuahua mix, came to OHS with two broken legs. He needed multiple surgeries to repair his shattered bones. OHS vets even consulted with outside specialists since Houston’s injuries were so complex. It took months for his injuries to heal. The OHS medical team and a dedicated foster parent were there for Houston during every step of his recovery.
Today, Houston is healthy and enjoying his new life in a loving home. This important work is funded by donations from animal lovers like you.
I hope you'll join me in helping pets from all walks of life. Please donate now!
