You all know my passion for animals in need and I’m hoping you can find it in your heart to donate to Oregon Humane to help them continue their amazing mission.
I volunteer with the Second Chance program which saves thousands of animals whose time has run out at shelters around the country. Our partners include many from California’s central valley and high-kill facilities in Oklahoma and Texas.
I also volunteer in the teaching hospital in recovery where I make sure the pets come out of anesthesia safely. The hospital not only takes care of shelter pets, they also have a program to help low-income Portlanders spay and neuter their pets.
I am part of the Emergency Responder program and we partner with the ASPCA as needed. The last two years I was deployed to Louisiana to work in emergency shelters after hurricanes. I have also deployed on fighting and abuse cases over the last five years.
Please support this wonderful non-profit with a donation of any amount. Your heart will thank you.
Please donate in honor of Joey. He passed away today from cancer. He and his sister Sheila were “foster fails” that were rescued from a stack of tires on Sauvie Island. He was a gorgeous 18 pound boy and had his best life because of OHS.
