Hi, I’m Jackson Murdock. I'm taking part in the Oregon Humane Society’s Doggie Dash on May 13 as the iHeartRadio Team Captain, and I need your help! OHS rescues pets that are neglected and abused, sometimes with serious medical issues. They heal them and then find them homes with loving families. But they need our help to do this! They feed and care for more than 11,000 animals each year without any tax dollars.
Jackson began life with the expectation that he would be a show dog. His mom and dad were both award-winning Golden Retrievers, so what could go wrong? From puppyhood he grew….and grew…and grew until he was four full inches longer than breed standard and couldn’t be shown. No longer such a great investment for his owner, he found his way to the Murdocks and his forever home. He’s been to several OHS Doggie Dashes in the past and is looking forward to this one very much. He loves his people (in fact, he loves ALL people) and can usually be found underfoot in the K103 morning show studio or within a six foot radius of his humans. Jackson splits time between homes in Vancouver and Seattle, and lives with his human dad Bruce, his human mom Monica, his Sheltie Bella and a psychotic German barn cat.
Please, donate to the animals on Jackson's behalf. Just click on a Donate button on this page, and think of your own pet! Thanks so much!
