Join Me in Helping Pets!

I’m taking part in the Oregon Humane Society’s Doggie Dash on May 13, and I need your help. OHS rescues pets that are neglected and abused, sometimes with serious medical issues. They heal them and then find them homes with loving families. But they need our help to do this. They feed and care for more than 11,000 animals each year without any tax dollars.

I have participated in the Doggie Dash every year since I rescued Barkley in December of 2007 (*10 YEARS*) and several times in the 10 years before that. When Zoe passed away in 2011 I up'ed my game and have raised at least $1000 each year since then. This year is no different!

Here are some impressive factoids about the OHS!
2016 was the seventh year in a row OHS has exceeded 11,000 adoptions
Eighth year in a row that every healthy and every treatable pet has found a home, making them a no-kill shelter :D
They have the largest number of adoptions from any single shelter facility in Washington, Oregon or California

To read more about what they do, here is a link to their Annual Report:

Bottom line, they do really good things and I am asking for your help. Please support my fundraising efforts as you are willing and able.

In addition, I am looking for some fun individuals to join me on the day of the walk! It's fun and easy. I promise! Here is the link:

Thanks for supporting me and a cause that is close to my heart.

Thanks so much!
