Hey folks,
Quinn and Katy Furry asked me to sign up for the Oregon Humane Society Doggie Dash, and while Quinn doesn't have the patience to walk politely with all the other dogs, she doesn't mind me and Katy going without her… however, we all can't do it alone, we need your help. OHS rescues pets that are neglected, uncared for and abused, sometimes with serious medical issues. They do their best to heal them and find them homes with loving families. I've walked and/or worked with dogs for over 100 hours last year alone (even with those horrible kidney stones). Yet, my time and effort and that of the other volunteers, just isn't enough to do everything that's needed to keep OHS providing the best services they can. They need your help to do this. Feeding and caring for more than 11,000 animals each year without any tax dollars relies on generous contributions from compassionate people like you to supplement the devoted labor of staff and volunteers like me.

Katy Furry reminds me every day how amazing OHS' services are. You may not know it, but when we adopted her Katy had a severe case of kennel cough, which quickly progressed to pneumonia and was dangerously close to claiming her life. OHS took her in and provided her with life saving intravenous fluids and antibiotics. In no time at all she was back at home with us and today she can chase a "BAAAALL" for hours because of OHS' expert care.

So please, donate to all the animals on my behalf. Just click on a 'Donate' button on this page, and think of your own pet!

Thank you!
