Join Me in Helping Pets!

I’m taking part in the Oregon Humane Society’s Doggie Dash on May 13, and I need your help. Everyone knows OHS finds homes for animals. But did you know OHS rescues pets that are neglected and abused, sometimes with serious medical issues? They heal them and then find them homes with loving families. They help other shelters that have more pets than they can house by bringing them to OHS- first from around Oregon, then other states. But they need our help to do this. They feed and care for more than 11,000 animals each year without any tax dollars.

Please, donate to the animals on my behalf. Just click on a Donate button on this page.

I believe so much in the work that OHS does, that I will match donations made to Doggie Dash on my behalf, up to $5,000. Together we can make a difference in the lives of so many.

Thanks so much!

The photo is of the 13 puppies I fostered last year after they were brought to OHS at only 2 weeks old. They had two large food bowls, but all were trying to eat from one.

The other is the End Petlessness Award I received for service at the shelter (800+ hours) and foster (2,500+) including top hours at the emergency bird shelter in 2016.

Please let me know if you'd like to learn more about OHS, or how to become a volunteer.

About the Oregon Humane Society: OHS is the largest and oldest humane society in the Northwest. Last year, OHS found homes for more than 11,600 pets, investigated more than 1,000 reports of animal cruelty, and reached 14,000 people through its humane education programs.
