Last year, OHS placed 11,614 pets in new homes(!), investigated more than 1,000 reports of animal cruelty, and reached 14,000 people through its humane education programs.

OHS is an independent non-profit and receives no tax dollars and is not affiliated with any national organization. Approximately 50% of animals they receive require medical or behavioral care, yet they don't place time limits on an animal's stay or euthanize any animal that can be saved and/or safely placed (currently 98% of the animals they receive are saved).

My Miss Heidi (pictured above) was saved by OHS as a part of their Second Chance program that brings dogs in from out of state (around 5,000 per year) who would otherwise have been euthanized.

This year will be my fifth year participating and fourth year fundraising. I'm hoping some of you might be able to help me help some of the animals currently at OHS that still need home.

If you can help in any way, or if you want to join my team (virtually or in person), please feel free to do so!!

Thanks so much!
