Doggie Dash is on. This year I have a Doggie!

You know how much I love animals. They provide companionship and comfort, as well as a good laugh when we need it. Last September I adopted Ma Cherie.

She is one of over 100 dogs rescued from a breeder in CA who is now charged with multiple felony animal abuse charges. OHS brought 45 of the dogs to Oregon, provided medical and foster care, then found them all loving homes.

One September day OHS assisted in two rescues- one of 99 cats in Polk County and the other 38 Alaskan Malamutes from Oak Ridge. Two of 560 Humane Law Enforcement cases opened in 2022.

The new Community Veterinary Hospital provides veterinary services to the public on a sliding fee scale, keeping families together.

The new behavior center is seeing animals graduating and going to forever homes in 25% less time.

That's why I'm fundraising for animals in need at Oregon Humane Society.

Each year, thousands of pets find loving homes through OHS. Some stay just a few days, while others are there for months. There is no time limit.
