Doggie Dash is on, and I am dashing to save lives!
On what will be Josh’s and my 28th wedding anniversary weekend, on May 13th we will be participating in a running (yikes!) fundraiser to support the Oregon Humane Society (OHS). We have adopted 9(!) pets from OHS since 1996. They are an organization that has forever changed our family. I credit our boys’ tender hearts toward animals directly to the pets we’ve adopted from OHS (and my mother Carolyn Markwith). ☺️
In addition, we lost our dear dog, Tuukka, to bone cancer on Valentine’s Day of 2022. I dedicate my fundraising to his sweet memory.
So that's why I'm fundraising for animals in need at the Oregon Humane Society. Each year, thousands of pets find loving homes through OHS. Some stay just a few days, while others are there for months.
If you feel so inclined, please give using the link below. All donations large or small, of course, are appreciated. For those who are blessed with the ability to give extravagantly, I encourage you to do so!
