Doggie Dash is on, and I am asking you for more money to save more lives!

You know how much I love animals; you see all my cute posts and have listened to annoyingly long animal stories. Our pets provide companionship and comfort, as well as a good laugh when we need it.

That's why I'm fundraising for animals in need at the place that dare employ me, the Oregon Humane Society.

Each year, thousands of pets find loving homes through OHS. Some stay just a few days, while others are here for months. Trust me, the ones who are here for months are thoroughly annoyed with the amount of love and snuggles they get from us.

As a Veterinary Social Worker at OHS, I get to talk to people about their pets. All. Day. Long. Talking about our pets is my actual job! (How lucky am I?) And OHS is a leader in community programs, access to veterinary care and even helps with laws and legislative efforts - I mean, we are kind of a big deal! And I am so proud to be a part of a place that believes everyone deserves the love of a pet!

You'll notice that I am using a dope ass picture of Vito and me at a local brewery, at first it made me sad. For those who don't know, Vito died in October and my little tender heart is still sad. But I want to honor him and all the pets in my life by helping other pets in need. Please donate now and have a beer for Vito!
