Doggie Dash is on, and I am dashing to save lives!

You know how much I love animals. They provide companionship and comfort, as well as a good laugh when we need it. It's also why I moved to Portland, OR this year--to work for the Oregon Humane Society and increase my impact for animal welfare by raising funds for animals all year 'round.

Each year, thousands of pets find loving homes through OHS. Some stay just a few days, while others are there for months. I know first hand how well the animals of OHS are taken care of whilst in our care but I also know how much they thrive in a home environment. A shelter can be a stressful place for pets in transition and I love seeing puppies, kitties and even bunnies go home to loving families every day. Every dollar raised means the start of a new happy "tail" for pets in need.
