Doggie Dash is on, and we're dashing to save lives!
You know how much we love animals. They provide companionship and comfort, as well as a good laugh when we need it.
That's why we're fundraising for animals in need at Oregon Humane Society.
Each year, thousands of pets find loving homes through OHS. Some stay just a few days, while others are there for months.
Lola, tiny but mighty, survived Hurricane Ida and was transferred to OHS. Lola needed a home where she would be the only pet and someone who could manage her seizures and skin allergies. She was in OHS' care for almost one year waiting for her perfect fit. When the shelter environment became overwhelming, dedicated foster parents were there for Lola while she waited for her family.
Today, Lola is in a loving home, playing with toys and sleeping in laps. This important work is funded by donations from animal lovers like you.
Our Sarge (RIP), was an OHS alumni. He was left there when he was 2 years old and suffered from BBD syndrome (Big Black Dog syndrome...black dogs are usually the last to be adopted) He was sad and hopeless, only days from being euthanized when we adopted him. Back in 1992, pets were only kept at the shelter for a limited amount of time. Fortunately, The Oregon Humane Society, is a no kill shelter. It is privately funded and relies on the donations from kind people like you!
Sebastian and I hope you'll join us in helping pets from all walks of life. Please donate now!
