Doggie Dash is on, and I am dashing to save lives!

You know how much I love animals. They provide companionship and comfort, as well as a good laugh when we need it.

That's why I'm fundraising for animals in need at Oregon Humane Society.

Each year, thousands of pets find loving homes through OHS. Some stay just a few days, while others are there for months.

Today I celebrate over 11 years with my own rescue dog Alex. Although he came from Indiana, he's still a poster child for animal rescue success and lives a healthier life thanks to our friends at OHS' new Community Veterinary Hospital.
