Doggie Dash is on, and I am dashing to save lives!
You know how much I love animals. I couldn't imagine life without my dog (Sahiyah), cat (NIBRS), and bunny (Tajo)! I also couldn't imagine not doing everything I can to improve the lives of the pets in our community. Our pets provide us with so much loyalty and companionship.
That's why I'm fundraising for animals in need with the Oregon Humane Society.
Each year, we receive thousands of requests to help animals in need in our community. From pets of all kinds left behind after their humans lose their housing to horses and cattle going without enough food to eat.
Lola, tiny but mighty, survived Hurricane Ida and was transferred to OHS. Lola needed a home where she would be the only pet and someone who could manage her seizures and skin allergies. She was in OHS' care for almost one year waiting for her perfect fit. When the shelter environment became overwhelming, dedicated foster parents were there for Lola while she waited for her family.
Today, Lola is in a loving home, playing with toys and sleeping in laps. This important work is funded by donations from animal lovers like you.
I hope you'll join me in helping pets from all walks of life. Please donate now!
