Every day, Oregon Humane Society rises to the challenge to help pets and people in our community – and beyond. This includes helping pets find new homes; providing critical medical care for sick and injured animals; rescuing animals from cruelty and neglect; and helping pets and people stay together.

During the past year, OHS has greatly expanded programs and services - donor support is more important than ever to sustain these critical programs.

Since October, the new Community Veterinary Hospital has distributed close to $200,000 in subsidized care to pet owners in need. The Behavior and Rescue Center is helping traumatized animals get ready for adoption 25% faster. The Animal Crimes Forensic Center is a vital tool for ensuring justice for abused and neglected animals. And OHS’ Salem Campus is serving pets and people in Oregon’s mid-Valley in exciting new ways.
