My grandma Rosemarie passed away on February 25th, 2024. She was the biggest animal lover and always advocated for all animals. She adopted so many rescue animals throughout her lifetime. Some came from shelters, some from friends or family and others just showed up at her home. She took them all in with loving arms no matter what their needs were, be it injury, neglect, abandonment or pregnancy. They all just needed someone to show them what a loving home was. She loved them all so very much.
She donated to countless organizations over the years and was a dedicated donor even when she had very little to give. She made donations to The Oregon Humane Society for over four decades.
I wholeheartedly believe the best way for her love and legacy to continue and live on, is to request in lieu of flowers, a donation to The Oregon Humane Society be made in her name. Together, we can honor her legacy of giving, so many more animals have a chance at a healthy, beautiful, and loving life.
