Team Oskee-Bow-Wow Retirement Celebration

My participation in the May Oregon Humane Society (OHS) 2020 Doggie Dash was planned to celebrate my transition into retirement and memorialize our dear departed Australian Shepherd, Zoey, an 8-time dasher. COVID-19 indefinitely postponed the Dash, OHS’ single largest fundraising event, but has not slowed OHS’ mission to create a more humane society. Team-Oskee-Bow-Wow wants to also forge ahead with our celebration and support of OHS.

OHS feeds and cares for more than 11,000 animals each year, including medical treatment, without any tax dollars. OHS is currently supporting the COVID-19 economy’s urgent needs for pet food across Oregon, delivering over 50,000 lbs of pet food to various shelters and food banks, plus hosting events for military and essential workers’ families. This urgent need comes in the midst of a long planned physical renovation at OHS that will facilitate simultaneous expansion of its core programs, animal adoption, animal rescue/rehabilitation, education and spay and save. This expansion also aspires to add its newest ambitious project, a community teaching animal hospital.

Lakka, a 5-time dasher, and Cosmo, a new addition to the Robbins family, are ready to continue Zoey’s legacy on Team Oskee-Bow-Wow. We're asking you to sponsor us to help OHS’ worthy cause. Whatever you can give will help - it all adds up and will go a long way toward the care, feeding and shelter of thousands of deserving animals at OHS. Donations are 100% tax deductible and the OHS pledge site makes it very easy. We appreciate any amount you can give.

Thank you!
