CBRE Cares

Team CBRE Cares is giving back to homeless pets in our community!

Every person who supports our Doggie Dash fundraising team is becoming part of something bigger. Your donation to Oregon Humane Society can:

  • Help pets find new homes
  • Provide medical care for sick and injured animals
  • Rescue animals from cruelty and neglect
  • Deploy emergency responders to disaster zones
  • Help pets and people stay together

Thousands of animals go to Oregon Humane Society each year for vital support, and they never put time limits on how long pets remain at their shelters. For all of this lifesaving work to be possible, the animals need YOU!

Sweetie is a 12-week old kitten that is part of the Second Chance program. She came from a shelter that OHS partners with in Josephine County. She's playful and cute and available for adoption.

Last October, Oregon Humane Society's Humane Law Enforcement team helped with a case of suspected animal neglect in Jackson County. Ten dogs, one of which is pictured below, were rescued and treated for extreme life-threatening conditions. More than 30 birds were also discovered on the property and OHS helped facilitate their transfer to specialized rescue groups. The dogs required individualized care, which ranged from mange to dental decay to gastrointestinal issues. After receiving care from the medical team at OHS they stayed with foster families until they recovered and were ready for adoption. In January, after nearly three months since being rescued, the last one from this group found her new family. Pets at OHS are under no time limits. That means that they can take as much time as they need to get ready for adoption. This is just one of the many ways that your Doggie Dash donations are put to use at OHS. Donate today and maybe you can help save a life!
