Thank you for visiting my Oregon Humane Society’s (OHS) DOGGIE DASH fundraising page! This walk/run event is the largest fundraiser for the shelter and the new OHS community hospital!
On May 13, I will again join forces with OHS staff, volunteers and the community in support of OHS and my Doggie Dash team, HIGHWAY TO HOME (H2H). H2H is a team of volunteers from the Second Chance Program who assist with the intake of animals transported to OHS from overcrowded shelters. There is something extraordinary about unloading a truck full of sweet, scared animals, then coaxing dogs from their crates to safety that creates an unbreakable bond.
While I’m busy fundraising, I also walk dogs, work in the OHS Spay and Save department, and spend quality time with dogs in the advanced kennel buddy program with critters that need a little extra help. Below is a photo of me with one of the beagles we took in from the Envigo lab in Virginia. I have been honored with a few awards during my time at OHS! We give it our all.
Please use this link to my fundraising page where you can make a safe and secure donation to help support so many wonderful animals in need. I am very grateful for your donation and can assure you first-hand that every donation, any amount, makes a huge difference.
