What a year! I hope your pets were a comfort to you through the last 12 months. This past year so much has changed, yet the companionship of OHS alums, such as Gus, have been a constant.
Doggie Dash is a fundraiser for the Oregon Humane Society, and I'm Dashing because I want to help create a more humane society.
You likely already know that: 1. OHS never puts time limits on how long pets remain at their shelter. 2. A Humane Law Enforcement team is in the field investigating reports of animals who sometimes are in desperate situations. 3. That OHS realized early during the pandemic that pet owners needed help. OHS stepped up to support pet owners around the state and delivered close to 100,000 pounds of pet food to shelters and food pantries around Oregon.
I'm asking you to join me in helping pets. Thank you for helping to create a more humane society.
