I don’t usually participate in the fundraising side of Doggie Dash—I’m not a big fan of asking people for money, especially when it feels like everyone is fundraising at the same time.

But after volunteering with Oregon Humane for the past two years, I’ve seen firsthand just how much support it takes to care for these animals. And honestly… they’re animals—I’d help every single one if I could.

So here I am, stepping a little outside my comfort zone to ask for your support. Even $1 makes a difference—truly, no donation is too small.

Your donation helps provide:

-Daily care for shelter animals while they wait for their new homes
-Financial assistance for pet owners so cost isn’t a barrier to veterinary care
-Specialized training through the Behavior Modification Program
-Investigations into animal cruelty and neglect
-“Second Chance” transfers for animals coming from other shelters
