I’m excited to fundraise for OHS’s largest fundraiser of the year, Doggie Dash! As a Dasher, I have the opportunity to create a better life for animals!

A little bit about my time with OHS:

• I have been volunteering as a dog walker and kennel buddy since March 2023.
• I obtained one of the highest levels of volunteer clearances in October of 2023 and am a proud ‘Heart Pin’ dog walker!
• I joined staff in February 2024 as a Philanthropy manager and am proud to work with a fantastic group of donors.

I’m fundraising for:

• The 10,000 animals who will find a second chance at life through OHS this year.
• The pet owners who receive subsidized veterinary care from OHS so they don’t have to choose whether or not their animals receive treatment.
• The victims of cruelty and neglect who will be saved by OHS Humane Law Enforcement and seen in our forensics center.
• Our cats and dogs who will receive extra time in our dedicated Behavioral Modification program before being placed for adoption.
• OHS Animal Care Team because animals have no time limit of how long they can stay with us before finding their new paw-rents.

How far your dollar can stretch:

• $10 can feed a shelter pet for a week.
• $25 can provide lab work for one sick shelter pet.
• $38 transports a pet from a smaller, overcrowded shelter and reduces euthanasia rates!
