Hello from Oregon Humane!

Spring 2026 marks two meaningful milestones in my animal welfare journey: three years as a dog walking volunteer and two years as a staff member of the Impact Giving team, both at Oregon Humane. Over that time, I’ve had the joy of helping countless dogs, a few cats and one very memorable kitten find their new families!

Every day, I’m inspired by the holistic way Oregon Humane supports both people and their pets. Our work goes far beyond adoptions. We serve our community through free vaccine clinics, Humane Law Enforcement, forensic veterinary services, school visits from our Humane Education team, a free behavior help line, financial assistance for veterinary care, and so much more.

While animals are always at the heart of what we do, our mission is deeply rooted in strengthening the human–animal bond across Oregon.
