A year ago, I made the transition from corporate veterinary practice to non-profit veterinary work. And while I work for Oregon State University, I am so fortunate to be based out of the Oregon Humane Society. Everyday, I see the magical work that they do, but they need your help to continue doing it!

I'm participating in Doggie Dash to help rasie funds for Oregon Humane Society. I’m fundraising for:

The OSU-OHS partnership that has created teaching programs that allow veterinary students the opportinuty to learn clinical medicine and surgical techniques.

The 10,000 animals who will find a second chance through OHS with a new family this year.

The pet owners who receive subsidized veterinary care from OHS so that they don’t have to deny their animal treatment due to cost.

The victims of cruelty and neglect who will be saved by OHS Humane Law Enforcement.

The shy cats and rowdy dogs who will receive extra time with the OHS Behavior Modification team before being made available for adoption.

I’m fundraising because I believe that animals deserve the best. Both Niles and Marty are in my life (and on your social media feeds) because of humane societies. If you agree, help support the lifesaving programs and services at OHS by donating now!
