I’m participating in Doggie Dash to help cats and dogs in our community who need a leg up...or in Timmy's case...a leg down, as our incredible veterinary team in Salem had to immediately remove one of his legs when he was surrendered. But that hasn't slowed him down!  
 
Timmy (and of course Bug, the cat Lucy rescued from her evil roommate) and I would greatly appreciate ANY amount you can give. Every dollar raised will help support: 

- Food, shelter, medical care, and most importantly love, as well as all the time shelter cats and dogs need while they wait for their new beginnings.
- Subsidized veterinary care for pet owners in need in order to keep their pets healthy.
- Investigations from OHS Humane Law Enforcement into suspected cases of cruelty and neglect.  Did you know that 30 percent of reported abuse and neglect cases we receive come from Marion County????

I’m fundraising to support the critical programs and services that Oregon Humane Society, Salem campus, provides to pets and the people who love them. (And oh yeah, ALSO, if I raise $300 my prize is a VERY COOL OHS Doggie Dash T-shirt that I MUST HAVE).
