Calypso and I participating again in Oregon Humane’s Doggie Dash to help animals and people in our community! This has been an annual tradition at my house for Calypso and many of her predecessors -- Shalimar, Ruffles (by Oscar de La Renta, and Miss Jazelle.

- Daily care for shelter animals while they await their new homes.
- Financial aid for pet owners in need so that they don’t have to deny their animal veterinary care due to cost.
- Specialized training for animals in Oregon Humane’s Behavior Modification Program.
- Investigations into suspected cases of cruelty and neglect by Oregon Humane Law Enforcement.
- Second Chances for animals transferred to Oregon Humane from other shelters across the state and beyond.
