I am participating in Doggie Dash to raise money for the Oregon Humane Society.
I have been a Board Member for the past several years, but I have been a contributor for more than 25 years because I believe so strongly in the organization. OHS is a nationally recognized animal welfare organization providing rescue, adoption and care services. Although based in Oregon, their efforts benefit the entire nation.   
 
Every dollar raised will help support: 

- Care for shelter animals while they await their new homes. 
- Subsidized veterinary care for pet owners in need.  
- Investigations from OHS Humane Law Enforcement into suspected cases of cruelty and neglect.  
- Relocation of animals to OHS from shelters in areas impacted by natural disasters.
