Just like the Beatles, we arrived in Oregon on August 20—nearly 150 of us—rescued from an animal research breeding facility in Virginia that was in violation of multiple violations of the Animal Welfare Act.
Thanks to the Oregon Humane Society and their Second Chance Program, 80 of us were swooped up into the loving arms and hearts of their staff and volunteers. (Four other shelters and rescue groups in Washington state scooped up the rest of us into their loving arms!)
All of us—4,000 of us beagles, were freed and are now living our BEST LIVES in loving homes across the country—because of a Department of Justice lawsuit against the breeding facility, Envigo, over alleged Animal Welfare Act violations at the facility.
So please support other lives saved like ours through OHS’s Second Chance Program, donate today!
