I am eternally grateful for your support. I feel quite privileged to be entrusted as a volunteer at Oregon Humane. We get to experience first hand how each volunteer helps shelter dogs, cats and small animals secure a better chance at adoption in a FUREVER home. This brings me such joy. When I am at the shelter watching a dog I have worked with go out the door, jump in his new owner's vehicle, the happy tears flow!

Our dog, Lewis, came to OHS from Oakland, CA, through our Second Chance Program. Without this program, I do not know where Lewis might be. As of this writing, he is at my feet with Max, our other rescue from California, sleeping peacefully by the fire.
