We are team Running With Dogs, and that is what we do! We are members of the OHS Running With Dogs program, a group of dedicated volunteers who have the pleasure of taking dogs from the shelter out on runs in the community. Often these dogs are high energy, are having difficulty coping in the shelter environment, have behavioral challenges and/or are long-term shelter residents. This program provides a much needed (and deserved!) break from shelter life, and we often get to see another side of the dog’s personality!

Every person who supports our Doggie Dash fundraising team will have an impact on the lives of animals in need. Your donation to Oregon Humane Society supports:
- Adoptions of animals into families
- Subsidized veterinary care for pet owners in need of assistance
- Comprehensive care for shelter pets, including spay/neuter, microchip, and any necessary medical procedures
- Investigations into cases of cruelty and neglect
- Emergency responders being deployed to disaster zones
